Sam Deck: Who Wore You

ARTIST STATEMENT

Who Wore You is a series of photographs exploring vintage clothing and their past lives and history. This project dives into the identities and life of these hypothetical past owners who could have worn them, preserving its memories. Since clothing is a form of self expression, the primary focus of [Project Title] is reimagining how these pieces were styled previously. By exploring the past, we can dive deeper into what the world was like before our present time, offering a unique window into the past, allowing us to connect with those who paved the way for our current fashion trends. [Project Title] explores the beauty of vintage clothing and the unknown stories they hold.
